Social Media & Privacy Quiz Challenge
There are roughly 7.1 billion people in the world today. There are 2 billion active social media users worldwide (28% of our population)[1]. All of us who are active online are putting content online – about ourselves and about others – GBs of content. Yet, did you know that 44% of Twitter users have never tweeted?![2] One of the things we realize is that some (ok, a lot) of that data is what we consider personal data is being collected – even though most of the time we want to protect it from prying eyes.
We believe we have an inherent privacy right – the right to control access to our personally identifiable information or just information we want to keep private. It has been made clear through the EU directive to Google to “take people off the Internet if the EU citizen requests it.” But in reality Google can only “unlist” you from its database. Alas you can still be found. So with that in mind, the following questions test your knowledge about this increasing concern for us and our clients. Think you know what privacy in the digital world really means? Are you a privacy clown or a privacy guru? Take the quiz.
